Abigail Shrier

Abigail Shrier is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. A prolific reporter and commentator, Ms. Shrier is the New York Times bestselling author of Bad Therapy: Why the Kids Aren’t Growing Up  (2024) and the national bestseller Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters (2020), which was named a “Best Book” by the Economist and the Times of London.

 

In 2021, Ms. Shrier received the Barbara Olson Award for Excellence and Independence in Journalism. Her works have been translated into twenty languages, and her writing has appeared in City Journal, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, and the Free Press, where she is a contributing editor.

 

Ms. Shrier holds an AB from Columbia College, where she received the Euretta J. Kellett Fellowship; a BPhil from the University of Oxford; and a JD from Yale Law School.
